The ePlanning Program is an initiative of the Department of Planning, Industry, and Environment. Its primary purpose is to drive the digital transformation of the NSW planning system.
The Planning Portal has been designed to provide public access to a range of planning services and information including documents or other information in the NSW planning database established under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The Portal supports individuals, property developers, certifiers, councils, and other members of the NSW community to participate in the planning process.
This new ePlanning Spatial Viewer has been developed as a replacement spatial viewer for the NSW Planning Portal that addresses the issues identified. It allows for easier management and maintenance to meet all current legislative requirements.
